Click to view Chapter info by area: Mid Atlantic | New England | CALIFORNIA -- Alameda County California Central Valley/Sierra Chapter Serving the Sacramento Valley to the Northern and Eastern borders of California. Bimonthly meetings are held at Mercy Healthcare Sacramento offices in Rancho Cordova. CEUs are available for most disciplines. El Dorado Chapter of HMA Serving members from the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in El Dorado County. Meetings are usually the second Wednesday of the month from 4:30PM to 6PM at the Community Health Library in Placerville. Santa Clara Valley Chapter Serving Santa Clara County, from Gilroy to Palo Alto. Meetings held in San Jose 3x year. Southern California Chapter Serving members south of Santa Barbara County, north of San Diego County, west of the California/Arizona border to the Pacific Ocean. Meetings are held quarterly at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, California. Return to Top THE CAROLINAS -- Carolina's Chapter of HMA "People of Faith Working Together for Healthier Communities". The chapter serves those interested in health ministries in North Carolina and South Carolina. The chapter offers an annual spiritual renewal retreat. Spring and fall conferences offer opportunities for networking and education, and shared resources. Scholarships are offered by the chapter for the annual retreat. Chapter members receive a quarterly newsletter, calendar of events for the Carolinas' and surrounding areas, and a resource list. Return to Top FLORIDA -- Central Florida Chapter of HMA Serving members of Central Florida, from coast to coast. Meetings are held every other month on designated Thursday evenings, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Florida Hospital. Return to Top INDIANA -- Indiana Chapter of HMA Serves members of Indiana. Meetings are bi-monthly-held at the Indiana Center for Parish Nursing, located at 1815 N. Capitol Ave., Suite 303, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202. The Chapter organizes an annual conference for parish nurses and health ministers with sponsorship through various Indiana organizations. Return to Top IOWA -- Iowa Health Ministries Chapter of HMA Return to Top KENTUCKY -- River Cities Chapter of HMA Serving northeastern/Ashland KY, southern Ohio - Portsmouth-Ironton and western West Virginia - Huntington areas. A new meeting schedule is currently under development. Return to Top MID-ATLANTIC -- Mid-Atlantic Chapter of HMA Serves Virginia, Maryland, and the DC metropolitan area. Meetings are held twice a year at selected locations. Return to Top MISSOURI -- Greater Kansas City Chapter of HMA Serves Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas, Northwest and West Central Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Chapters meet even months of the year Return to Top NEBRASKA -- Nebraska State Chapter of HMA Serves members of the state of Nebraska. Meetings are held semi annually, once via video-conference in the spring and during the Annual Nebraska Health Ministry event in the fall. Return to Top NEVADA -- Northern Nevada - Truckee Meadows Chapter Return to Top NEW ENGLAND -- HMA of Southern New England Meetings are twice a year in October and May. We gather people from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine and Rhode Island. We offer Health Ministers a chance to come together for the purpose of sharing experiences, growing in faith and spirituality and increasing our knowledge of the faith communities of which we are apart. Return to Top NEW HAMPSHIRE -- New Hampshire Chapter of HMA Serving all of New Hampshire, with members and guests from all of New England. Meetings are 3 times a year, with other educational events planned with statewide partners. Return to Top OHIO -- Southwest Ohio Chapter of HMA Serving the southwest quadrant of Ohio from the greater Dayton to Cincinnati areas. Meetings are held quarterly in Dayton, generally the third Thursdays of February, May, September and November. Greater Central Ohio Health Ministries Chapter of HMA Serving Greater Columbus area, including Zanesville and Lancaster. Meetings are bi-monthly, beginning in January and held at Mt Carmel East. Return to Top OKLAHOMA -- Heartland Chapter of HMA Return to Top PENNSYLVANIA -- Southeastern Penn. Chapter (SEPHA) - serving members and friends in the southeastern Pennsylvania area. Meetings are held quarterly in Willow Grove, PA, near major traffic arteries. Contact hours are available for registered nurses. South West Pennsylvania Chapter Serving the larger southwestern PA area, including Pittsburgh. Meetings are quarterly, often offer Continuing Nursing Education and are co-sponsored by the Mercy Parish/Congregational Nurse and Health Ministries Program. Return to Top TENNESSEE -- Middle Tennessee Chapter of Health Ministries Association (MTHMA) Serving members within the Mid-Cumberand Valley Tennessee region; luncheon meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at Hendersonville First Presbyterian Church, 172 West Main St., Hendersonville, TN. Upcoming plans include offering continuing education opportunities for both experienced and new Faith Comm. Nurses, through workshops and monthly network meetings. Return to Top TEXAS -- Health Ministries Association Texas Chapter Serves members of Texas, from the Texas Panhandle to the Valley and Big Bend to East Texas. Meetings are quarterly, usually in January, April, July and October. Twice a year they are held in Austin with others in either San Antonio, Houston or Dallas.
