HMA 19th Annual Conference
The 2008 Annual Conference aims to increase awareness of gratitude and its healing power and to provide a forum for health ministers
to share their thoughts on how gratitude has touched their personal and professional lives.
Conference Goals
- To provide educational programs that will encourage, support and develop whole-person ministries that lead to the integration of faith and health
- To offer a forum in which those involved in health ministry can share and gain knowledge and skills that will enhance their practices
- To enhance the visibility of the Health Ministries Association so more voices will join the process of networking and dialogue
Conference Objectives
- Explore faith-based and healing dimensions of gratitude
- Explore how gratitude, embodied in practices of caring for the suffering and the vulnerable, is transformative
- Share with other health ministers the personal and professional impact of gratitude
- Re-create opportunities for nurturing gratitude in one’s own network of health ministers.
